SMBiT Professionals are proud to support Peter Moriarty in his 500km, 5-day ride across Thailand. It is in aid of the Hands Across the Water charity at the end of March. All contributions go to the charity as Peter states, “I pay my way for all expenses (travel, accommodation, food, bike etc.) so 100% of your donation goes towards charitable projects”.
Peter will be participating in the charity bike ride event to raise money for children in Thailand. The Hands Across the Water charity provides volunteers like Peter the opportunity to “build strong, meaningful relationships and experience a journey of self-discovery”.
The momentous 500km bike ride will take place in March for a total of five days. The ride will start from the “south of Bangkok and continue onto Baan Tharn Namchi where the children from Baan Tharn Namchi orphanage awaits our arrival”.
Funds raised for the charity event will go towards necessity requirements for the children. This includes “food, education and a home for at-risk children of Thailand”, as well as, children who were affected in the tsunami and children who are victims of HIV and abuse.
SMBiT Professionals has donated $500 towards Peter’s goal of raising $5,000 for the Thai children and their community. He is encouraging others to show their support too.
‘Wishing you all the best for this challenge. You are known by members for your hard work and dedication, we’re sure it will pay off! ‘said Vivien Dehamer, Operations Manager at SMBiT Professionals.
