We then moved into planning for 2012 with the announcement of three twilight workshops in March, July and October. Agreement was also reached on offering two prizes for members who create a technical white paper or do a presentation before August. The prize will allow two members to attend with Microsoft TechEd Australia or the Australian Partner Conference on the Gold Coast in September.

The meeting rounded out with a review of the results of a recent planning survey and developed a course of action for what will be presented to members over the coming 12 months.

The committee takes this opportunity to thank those that attended and contributed. We looks forward to an exciting 2012 for members.

The meeting was the best attended for some time - possibly due to the giveaway from Radek of a 64GB iPad2 with Wi-Fi + 3G(RRP $950.00) at the conclusion of his presentation! The meeting welcomed three new members, who each introduced themselves. Committee members (newly appointed at the July meeting) provided updates from within their portfolios to the meeting.

Prize winner(s) business cards were drawn out of a hat and had to answer a question from Radek's presentation. The question was What is the VMVault iPhone/iPad app called. The correct answer was VMVault VCMobile. Amazingly, and disappointingly for some members, the draw was repeated several times as the incorrect or no answer was provided until Richard Grace took home the evening's grand prize (see photo) - a very happy man.

The Kerio giveaway was an iPad Nano which was won by Bill Vass.
