As we close out 2025, the SMBiT Professionals community can look back on a year defined by connection, growth, and meaningful contribution across Australia and New Zealand. With strong participation in chapter meetings, national events, and association initiatives, the network continued to evolve in capability and industry influence.
A Year Strengthened by Chapters
Our chapters remained at the heart of the association, with exceptional attendance throughout the year. From hands-on technical sessions to business development discussions, members showed an ongoing commitment to learning, sharing, and supporting one another. A special highlight was the launch of the Auckland Chapter, marking an exciting step in expanding our international footprint and welcoming new members into the SMBiT Professionals community.
The association also introduced important updates to governance and strategic direction, reinforcing our focus on member-driven leadership and the long-term future of the TSP sector.
#NextLevel2025: A National Conference to Remember
One of the standout moments of the year was the National Conference in Sydney. Across three days, hundreds of Technology Service Providers, vendors, speakers, and industry leaders came together for keynotes, workshops, panel discussions, and an exhibition hall full of innovation.
The Awards Dinner was a celebratory highlight, recognising outstanding contributions from members and partners who continue to elevate both the association and the wider industry. The energy and engagement from the conference carried throughout the following months, reflected in strong chapter activity and community momentum.
Celebrating Community Excellence
Throughout the year, SMBiT Professionals recognised members who have made exceptional contributions to the TSP community, including our Member of the Year and newly appointed Honorary Members. Their leadership and mentorship continue to strengthen and inspire our national network.

Looking Ahead: #NextLevel2026
Planning is already underway for Next Level 2026, to be held from 23–24 July 2026 at the Western Sydney Convention Centre. With a new conference identity and a renewed focus on capability, growth, and the ideas shaping the future of the TSP sector, this event represents an exciting milestone for the association.
